Rolled Beef Stuffed with Bacon & Ham

  1. Place bread in shallow bowl.
  2. Add water; let stand 5 min.
  3. Meanwhile, cut roast across the grain into 12 slices; pound to 1/8-inch thickness.
  4. Remove bread from water; squeeze to remove excess water.
  5. Place bread in medium bowl.
  6. Add ham, bacon, garlic and Italian seasoning; mix well.
  7. Spread onto beef slices; roll up tightly, starting at one short end of each slice.
  8. Secure with wooden toothpicks.
  9. Heat olive oil in large skillet on medium heat.
  10. Add beef rolls; cook 10 min.
  11. or until evenly browned on all sides, turning occasionally.
  12. Add tomatoes; sprinkle with pepper.
  13. Cook 10 min.
  14. or until beef is done and sauce is thickened.
  15. Remove and discard toothpicks before serving.
