Grilled Pork Steaks with KA BBQ Rub
- 2 Pork Steaks, about 1 pound each
- 1 TBSP Brown sugar
- 1 TBSP Salt
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Basil, dried crushed
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp Cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1/2 tsp Celery seeds, crushed
- 1/2 tsp Tarragon, dried crushed
- Mix rub ingredients, crushing up the dry herbs as much as possible.
- Seasoned pork steaks generously on both sides and refrigerate 4 to 24 hours.
- Set up your grill for Direct Heat.
- Place pork steaks on the grill directly over the fire.
- Cook for about 5 + minutes.
- When the juices begin to collect on top of pork steaks flip over and continue cooking for about 5 more minutes.
- When the juices run clear removing the grill and cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
