Basic Beef Marinade Recipe
- 1/4 c. sherry vinegar or possibly red wine vinegar
- 1/2 c. dry red wine
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 x cloves garlic, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. parsley, fresh, minced
- 2 Tbsp. fresh herb combo: rosemary tarragon, thyme
- 1 dsh black pepper to taste
- Combine the vinegar, wine, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, and sugar in a non-reactive mixing bowl.
- Whisk in extra virgin olive oil a little at a time.
- Add in the pepper, parsley and herbs.
- For beef steaks marinate for 6 to 8 hrs.
- For roasts, 10 to 12 hrs.
