Peaches in Primitivo Syrup

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine clove, sugar and red wine and heat until sugar is dissolved, about 10 minutes.
  2. Cool and keep covered.
  3. Peel and slice peaches and divide among 4 wine glasses.
  4. Pour 1/4 cup syrup over each peach and serve immediately with biscotti.
