Toasted Almond Parmesan Dip
- 6 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
- 2 ounces, weight Mascarpone Cheese
- 1 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 3/4 cups Sliced Toasted Almonds, Divided
- 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 18 teaspoons Nutmeg
- Pinch Of Salt
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, mascarpone, parmesan, 1/2 cup almonds, black pepper, nutmeg, and salt.
- Mix with a spoon to combine, then press into a baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and top with remaining almonds.
- Serve with crackers and pita chips!
- This will serve 2-4 depending on the other snacks available.
- Note: you can use low-fat cream cheese since the mascarpone has fat in it; not sure about using fat-free.
