Toasted Almond Parmesan Dip

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, mascarpone, parmesan, 1/2 cup almonds, black pepper, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Mix with a spoon to combine, then press into a baking dish.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and top with remaining almonds.
  6. Serve with crackers and pita chips!
  7. This will serve 2-4 depending on the other snacks available.
  8. Note: you can use low-fat cream cheese since the mascarpone has fat in it; not sure about using fat-free.
