Sausage and Cabbage Saute

  1. Slice sausage about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Slice cabbage about 1/8 inch thick, core and slice apples but do not peel.
  3. Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes.
  4. Add cabbage, cook covered about 5 minutes.
  5. Add apples slices, stir and cover.
  6. Cook another 2 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with vinegar and serve.
  8. Pass additional vinegar at the table.
