Swedish Brown Beans

  1. Soak beans overnight in salted beans in salted water (about a tablespoon of slat per liter of water).
  2. Drain and cover with new water in a pot.
  3. Bring to a boil and simmer until soft, about 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
  4. Add vinegar and syrup, incorporate and serve.
