Glazed Carrots With Onions Recipe

  1. Steam or possibly boil carrots in lightly salted water till just tender; drain.
  2. Combine butter, honey, vinegar and 1/2 c. brown sugar in small saucepan over low heat till melted.
  3. Bring mix to boil and remove from heat.
  4. Combine carrots, onions, lemon peel and parsley in a medium saucepan; sprinkle with remaining sugar.
  5. Pour sauce mix over carrots and cook slowly 30 min, stirring occasionally.
