Flora's Baked Sweet Tater Chips
- 1 Sweet Tater
- 1 salt
- 1 pepper
- 1 spray oil
- Heat oven to 250F.
- Grease a cookie sheet.
- Slice your sweet tater thinly.
- I found that a mandolin works the best.
- Layer on the pan without overlapping.
- Then spray the tops of the taters with more spray oil.
- Season with the salt and pepper.
- Bake until the taters shrivel up, then flip until the edges and center start to crisp.
- Baking time depends on how thickly you cut your taters.
- They will continue to crisp as they sit out and cool.
- Watch them to make sure that they don't burn.
