Flora's Baked Sweet Tater Chips

  1. Heat oven to 250F.
  2. Grease a cookie sheet.
  3. Slice your sweet tater thinly.
  4. I found that a mandolin works the best.
  5. Layer on the pan without overlapping.
  6. Then spray the tops of the taters with more spray oil.
  7. Season with the salt and pepper.
  8. Bake until the taters shrivel up, then flip until the edges and center start to crisp.
  9. Baking time depends on how thickly you cut your taters.
  10. They will continue to crisp as they sit out and cool.
  11. Watch them to make sure that they don't burn.
