Salted Microwave Caramels

  1. Butter a 8x8 baking dish.
  2. Melt butter in large microwave bowl.
  3. Stir in Karo syrup, both sugars and sweetened condensed milk.
  4. Mix until dissolved.
  5. Microwave on high 3-1/2 minutes.
  6. Stir down and scrape sides of bowl.
  7. Microwave on high 4 minutes.
  8. Stir in vanilla.
  9. Pour into buttered dish and refrigerate until set.
  10. When set, remove from fridge and cut into squares.
  11. Sprinkle a small amount of sea salt on each piece and drizzle chocolate on top (optional).
