Easy Cheesy Onion Rolls Recipe
- 1/2 c. finely minced onion
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 6 ounce. can 3/4 c. blended vegetable or possibly tomato juice
- 1 tbsp. water
- 1 pkg. Pillsbury warm roll mix
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. (2 ounce.) shredded cheddar cheese
- In small saucepan saute/fry onion in butter just till tender.
- Add in vegetable juice and water; heat to very hot.
- In large bowl, dissolve yeast from warm roll; fold in hot mix; stir in egg.
- Add in flour mix and cheese; blend well.
- Cover; let rise in hot place till light and doubled in size, 30-45 min.
- Generously grease 16 muffin c. or possibly 13 x 9 inch pan.
- On well floured surface, toss dough till no longer sticky.
- For muffin c., shape dough into 48 one inch balls; place 4 in each greased muffin c.. For 13 inch pan, shape dough into 15 equal pcs and place in greased pan.
- Cover; let rise in hot place till light and doubled in size 30-45 min.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Bake 15-20 min or possibly till golden.
