Better than Takeout Beef and Broccoli
- 1 pound Flank Steak, Cut Into Strips
- 1/4 cups Teriyaki Sauce (optional)
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic, Divided
- 13 cups Soy Sauce
- 23 cups Water
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons Ground Ginger
- 1/2 teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 pound Broccoli Cut Into Florets
- 1 whole Small Yellow Onion, Cut Into Wedges
- 2 cups Cooked Rice
- 2 Tablespoons Peanuts, Crushed
- 1.
- Marinate beef in teriyaki and half of the garlic for a few hours or overnight (optional).

- In a small bowl, mix remaining garlic with soy sauce, water, brown sugar, cornstarch, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- 3.
- Heat oil in large skillet or wok over medium heat.
- Add steak.
- Cook until just browned.

- Add broccoli and onions.
- Cook until tender.
- 5.
- Add sauce.
- Cook until thickened.
- 6.
- Serve over rice and top with crushed peanuts.
