Grandma Hedden's Fresh Strawberry Dessert
- 1 cup flour
- 12 cup butter
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
- 12 ounces Cool Whip
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 (14 ounce) package strawberry glaze
- fresh strawberry, cut in half
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Melt butter in a 10x10 baking dish in the microwave.
- Mix flour and nuts with butter and press firmly in the bottom of pan.
- Bake until light brown.
- Let fully cool.
- In a large bowl mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add cool whip.
- Spread over cooled crust.
- Press strawberries on top flat side down to cover cream cheese mixture.
- Spread strawberry glaze on top.
- Refridgerate for at least an hour and enjoy!
