Strawberry Sugared Donuts
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup Land O Lakes Half & Half
- 1 Half Stick (1/4 cup) Land O Lakes Butter, melted
- 2 Land O Lakes Eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2/3 cup freeze-dried strawberry slices
- 1 cup sugar
- Vegetable oil
- Gently place 3 donuts and 3 donut holes into oil.
- Cook 1 minute; flip donuts.
- Continue cooking 1 minute or until golden brown.
- Transfer to cooling rack placed over paper towels.
- Cool about 1 minute.
- Repeat with remaining donuts making sure oil temperature returns to about 360 degrees F in between batches.
