Fried Chicken

  1. Place chicken in shallow baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of the salad dressing mix and hot pepper sauce; turn to coat.
  3. Cover.
  4. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours to marinate.
  5. Mix flour and remaining salad dressing mix in plastic bag.
  6. Shake 1 chicken piece at a time to coat.
  7. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat.
  8. Add chicken; brown on all sides.
  9. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 20 to 30 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
  10. Drain on paper towels.
