Holiday Brie En Croute

  1. thaw pastry sheet at room temp for 30 minute Prehaet oven to 400*F. mix egg and water set aside.
  2. unfold pastry on lightly floured surface.
  3. roll into 14"square.
  4. cut off corners to make a circle.
  5. spread preserves to within 1" of pastry edge.
  6. sprinkle cranberries and almonds over preserves.
  7. top with cheese.
  8. brush edges of circle with egg mixture.
  9. fold two opposite sides over cheese.
  10. trim remaining two sides to 2" from edge of cheese.
  11. fold these two sides onto the round.
  12. press edges to seal.
  13. place seam-side down on baking sheet.
  14. decorate top with pastry scraps if desired.
  15. brush with egg mixture.
  16. bake 20 min or until golden.
  17. let stand for 1 hours serve with crackers and enjoy.
