Round Steak Round Up Recipe
- 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. round steak, cut 1/2 to 1 inch thick
- 1/4 c. flour
- 3 tbsp. fat
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 c. water
- Can use 1/4 tsp.
- celery salt, 1/8 tsp.
- garlic salt and 1/8 tsp.
- onion salt.
- Can also use 1/4 c. water and 1 can undrained mushrooms in place of 1/2 c. water.
- Dredge meat with flour; brown in warm fat over medium heat.
- Sprinkle with seasonings.
- Add in water and/or possibly mushrooms; cover and simmer 1 1/2 hrs.
