Delicious Fruit Cobbler Recipe
- 4 c. frzn or possibly fresh cherries, peach or possibly raspberries, apples
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon rind
- 1/8 teaspoon salt (optional)
- Peaches & cherries add in 1/4 teaspoon almond
- Raspberries 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Apples 1-1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 c. water or possibly liquid from fruit
- Mix sugar and cornstarch, slowly add in 2 c. juice/water in large saucepan.
- Add in fruit (adjust lemon juice and rind for sour cherries).
- Bring to boil 5 min.
- Pour warm mix into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch dish.
- Spoon Bisquick mix into warm mix: 1 1/2 c. Bisquick, 2 Tbsp.
- sugar, 3 Tbsp.
- melted butter and 1/3 c. lowfat milk.
- Stir till blended and drop by Tbsp.
- into warm mix.
- Serve as is or possibly with lowfat milk or possibly vanilla ice cream.
- (For juicy cherries add in 1/2 Tbsp.
- cornstarch.)
- Bake at 400 degrees for 20 min.
- Heat varies -adjust to your oven.
