Sesame Salt
- 1/2 cup white sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup black sesame seeds
- 3 tbsp cracked black pepper
- 1/2 cup coarse salt (kosher or sea)
- Heat a dry skillet over medium heat.
- Add the white sesame seeds and toast, stirring occasionally, until fragrant and golden brown, 2 to 4 minutes.
- Transfer the sesame seeds to a bowl, and stir in the black sesame seeds, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer to a jar, cover, and store away from heat and light.
