Blondie's Mom's Maple Pecan Pie
- 1 pie shell, unbaked
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 cup broken pecans
- 1 tsp vanilla (I use extra)
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- Cream butter, brown sugar and salt.
- Stir in other ingredients.
- Place ingredients in pie shell.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 450.
- Then turn down the heat to 350.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes longer.
- Serve with whipped cream if desired.
