After School Gingersnaps Recipe

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugars, molasses and egg.
  2. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and ginger; add in to the creamed mix and mix well.
  3. Cover and chill for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness and cut into desired shapes (2 1/2 inches) Place on ungreased baking sheets.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees F for 5 - 6 min or possibly till set
  6. (don't overbake).
  7. Remove from pans to cold on wire racks.
