Carmelized Onion Focaccia Pizza
- 1 premade pizza crust (Boboli Bread, Focaccia, or your own recipe)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- salt and pepper
- 8 slices deli provolone cheese
- 14 cup Greek olive, cut in half

- Melt butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat.
- Cook onions and garlic in butter and olive oil over medium-low or low heat until they are browned and carmelized - 10 to 15 minutes.
- Stir frequently.
- Heat the oven to 450 degrees.
- Spread a little olive oil on the bread or crust and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Spread the onion and garlic mix on the bread.
- Distribute the cheese evenly on the bread.
- Sprinkle olives over the cheese.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and the exposed crust is slightly golden brown.
- Cool 5 minutes and cut into wedges.
