Boiled Asparagus With Melted Cheese Recipe
- 900 gm fresh asparagus trimmed and peeled if necessary
- 140 gm interesting melting cheese (gorgonzola taleggio parmesan are good)
- 1 sm handful of fresh herbs to include basil marjoram and parsley
- 1 x salt and freshly grnd black pepper
- Cook your asparagus in boiling salted water till tender.
- Drain and place in a bowl with your broken up cheese herbs and seasoning.
- Toss over till the cheese has semi melted and serve.
- When I'm on my way home from work I just pick up any interesting cheese which will heat and be sticky and stringy and coat my beautiful asparagus.
- It's dead easy and it makes perfect sense.
- Serves 4
