Spiced Beef Stew
- 1 lb stewing beef, cubed into 1 in pieces
- 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soft brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons English mustard
- salt and pepper
- Preheat the oven to 300F, Gas Mark 2.
- Combine all the ingredients into a casserole dish.
- Simply shove in the oven for 2-3 hours or until the meat is tender!
