Everyone's Favorite Chicken Teriyaki Honey Oyster Sauce
- 1 Chicken thigh
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 tbsp each Sake, soy sauce, honey
- 2 tsp Oyster sauce
- 1 to 2 cm Garlic (tubed)
- 1 pinch Black pepper
- Cut the excess fat off of the chicken thigh, and make incisions into the thicker parts of the meat.
- Season lightly with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Mix sake, soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce and garlic together.
- Oil and heat the pan well, then lower the heat to a medium heat and grill the chicken skin-side down (about 2 1/2~3 minutes).
- When the skin has turned golden, flip the chicken.
- Turn the heat off after two minutes, and pat off excess oil with a paper towel.
- Pour in the sauce mix, put the lid on and steam-grill over a low heat for 5~6 minutes.
- (Baste the chicken once in a while by spooning on some of the sauce)
- Take the lid off, turn the heat up to medium and simmer down the sauce.
- Sprinkle on some black pepper.
- Take the chicken out onto a cutting board.
- Slice the chicken into easy-to-eat sizes and plate them.
- Pour on all of the sauce left on the pan, and it's ready to be served.
- Garnish with mayonnaise and lettuce as you like.
