Cabbage With Rice
- 1 small cabbage, shredded
- 1 12 cups brown rice, cooked (cooked measurement)
- 4 tablespoons soft margarine
- 1 cup low-fat cheese, grated
- 14 teaspoon nutmeg, grated
- salt
- In large covered saucepan in as little water as possible, cook shredded cabbage over medium heat until crisp-tender.
- Lower the heat and stir in the rice, margarine, cheese, and nutmeg.
- Add salt to taste.
- When all ingredients are heated through, transfer to a serving dish and serve.
