Black Bottom Cheesecake Recipe

  1. In a small bowl, combine crumbs and butter.
  2. Lightly grease a 9 inch spring form pan.
  3. Press crumb mix proportionately over the bottom.
  4. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  5. Put cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in a large mixer bowl.
  6. With mixer set at medium speed, beat cheese mix till smooth.
  7. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  8. Set 1 c. of cheese mix aside; pour rest into prepared pan.
  9. Fold melted chocolate into the c. of reserved cheese mix.
  10. Spoon into pan and cut through in a spiral motion for a marble effect.
  11. Bake 50-55 min or possibly till set.
  12. Remove to wire rack and cold completely.
  13. Refrigeratefor 2 hrs.
