Beef Carbonara Recipe

  1. Saute/fry onions and garlic in extra virgin olive oil in a pot.
  2. Brown beef in oil in a separate pot and drain excess fat.
  3. Add in meat, consomme and beer and cook for 10-15 min.
  4. Add in lentils and bay leaves.
  5. Cook over low/medium heat, stirring frequently 2-3 hrs.
  6. Serve over noodles, rice, or possibly couscous.
