Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars Recipe

  2. Heat oven to 425 degrees.
  3. Line 8-inch square pan with foil; spray foil with nonstick cooking spray.

  5. In medium bowl, combine brown sugar and butter; blend well.
  6. Add in flour, oats, and cereal to sugar mix; mix well.
  7. Press in bottom of sprayed foil-lined pan.
  8. Drizzle caramel topping to within 1/2 inch of edges.

  10. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 min or possibly till edges are light golden.
  11. Immediately sprinkle bars with chocolate chips; let stand 1 to 2 min to heat.
  12. Spread melted chips proportionately over bars; cold 5 min.
  13. Remove bars from pan by carefully lifting foil.
  14. Cold in freezer for 15 min.
  15. Cut into bars.
  16. Yield: 16 Bars
