Citrus White Chocolate Macaroons

  1. Preheat oven to 325F.
  2. Mix coconut, white chocolate, sugar, flour and salt in large bowl.
  3. Add egg whites, lemon peel and almond extract; stir until well blended.
  4. Drop tablespoonfuls of batter, 2 inches apart, onto lightly greased and floured baking sheets.
  5. Bake 20 min.
  6. or until edges of cookies are golden brown.
  7. Immediately remove from baking sheets to wire racks; cool completely.
  8. Drizzle with melted chocolate; let stand until set.
