Sauerkraut Surprises Recipe

  1. Mix sauerkraut, corned beef, 1 c. bread crumbs, 1 egg, the onion, water, parsley, horseradish, garlic and salt.
  2. Chill at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  4. Shape sauerkraut mix into 1 inch balls.
  5. Dip balls in 2 beaten Large eggs; then roll in 1/2 c. bread crumbs.
  6. Bake on ungreased baking sheet till light brown, about 20 min.
  7. Serve warm with mustard.
  8. Makes 2-3 dozen appetizers.
