Mega Meaty Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees farenheit.
  2. Saute beef and onion until no pink remains in the meat and onions are translucent.
  3. Drain.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Thoroughly grease a 9" x 13" baking dish.
  6. Spread meat mixture into baking dish, then sprinkle with 1-1/2 cups of the shredded cheese.
  7. Set aside.
  8. In a separate bowl, combine the Bisquick, milk and beaten eggs.
  9. Stir well, until nearly smooth.
  10. Pour over meat mixture.
  11. Bake for 25 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center of the casserole comes out clean.
  12. Decorate the top of the entree with sliced tomatoes, then remaining cheese.
  13. Return to oven for approximately 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and tomatoes are slightly softened.
  14. Delicious!
