Sweet And Sour Pork
- 1 lb. boneless pork, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. cold water
- 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
- 1/3 c. white vinegar
- 1 tsp. soya sauce
- 1/3 c. packed light brown sugar
- bell pepper as desired
- onion as desired
- tomatoes as desired
- cherries as desired
- 1/3 c. catsup
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- Mix flour, salt, baking powder and water.
- Coat pork and fry until done, but not hard.
- Drain and pour off grease.
- Saute vegetables.
- Combine pineapple juice, cornstarch, sugar, soya sauce, vinegar and catsup to make 2 cups.
- Pour in skillet to thicken to bubbly.
- Add pineapple, cherries and pork.
