Chocolate Macadamia Chewies
- 34 cup butter, softened
- 23 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 34 cups flour
- 34 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 34 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
- 12 cup shredded coconut
- 1 34 cups miniature M&M baking bits
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In large bowl cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla.
- In medium bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; blend into cream mixture.
- Blend in nuts and coconut.
- Stir in M&M's.
- Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls about 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets; flatten slightly with back of spoon.
- Bake 8-10 minutes or until set.
- Do Not Overcook!
- Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet and then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
- Store in tightly covered container.
