Ms. Kipper's Ground Beef Pot Pie (Individual)
- 1 lb MEAT MIX (from my profile) has seasoning in the meat
- 1 envelope brown gravy mix
- 1/2 cup tomato juice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 large potato
- 5 oz can of peas (can used mixed veggies if you wish) or frozen peas and carrots
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 box rolled pie crust
- Peel potato and put in salt water to boil.
- make meat mix( garlic, onion, salt &oepper) and fry until brown.
- RECIPE FOR MEAT MIX IS ON MY PROFILE.
- drain almost all of the oil off of the ground beef.
- sprinkle 3T of flour and mix until hamburger is coated.
- add juice, water, sour cream and package if brown gravy mix.
- turn heat to medium and stir until it thickens.
- if needed you can add a dash of milk if it seems to thick.
- once potatoes are tender.
- drain water and add to beef mixture.
- I put them in a colander for 5 minutes.
- add small can of carrots and peas (I use frozen I only use what I need)
- cut pie crust should be cut into 4 equal squares.
- put pie crust in 5-6 oz ramekins.
- put beef mixture on top of pie crust.
- fold ends of pie crust on top.of mixture and paint with egg wash...
- is done when the pastry is golden brown..
mix, brown gravy mix, tomato juice, water, potato, peas, sour cream, rolled pie crust
