Apple Charlotte (Passover) Recipe

  1. Beat the egg yolks, sugar and salt till thick and lemon colored.
  2. Stir in the apples, matzo meal, lemon rind and slivovitz.
  3. Mix in the egg whites.
  4. Turn into a greased 8-inch spring form pan.
  5. Sprinkle the nuts on top.
  6. Bake in a 350 degree oven 35 min or possibly till brown and hard.
  7. Cold before removing sides of pan.
  8. Serves 6 to 8.
