Vermicelli Peasant Style

  1. Saute mushrooms and garlic in 2 tbsp butter for about 5 minutes.
  2. Cook vermicelli according to the package instructions and drain water.
  3. Add procuitto and peas to mushrooms and cook another 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove garlic cloves: add cream and heat.
  5. Salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Toss vermicelli with remaining butter and then add the sauce with parmesan cheese.
