Creamy Sausage Pasta
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 pound Sausage, Sliced 1/2 Inch Thick (Turkey Or Your Favorite)
- 1- 1/2 cup Onion, Diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 cups Low Sodium Chicken Broth
- 1 can (14 1/2 Oz. Size) Diced Tomatoes
- 1/2 cups Milk Or Heavy Cream
- 8 ounces, weight Egg Noodles
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1- 1/2 cup Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add sausage and onion and cook until onions soften, about 4 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook 30 seconds longer.
- Add chicken broth, tomatoes, milk (or heavy cream), noodles, salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to low.
- Simmer for about 15 minutes, until noodles are tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted.
- Serve warm.
