Thai Papaya Salad (Som Tun) Recipe

  1. Use mortar and pestle to crush peppers (see picture #3) and garlic
  2. Add papaya and continue crushing with the pestle
  3. Cut tomatos add to bowl, continue crushing
  4. Add juice of lemon, continue
  5. Shake crab sauce, add 2 - 3 tablespoon to bowl
  6. Add sugar, mix.
  7. Cut head of cabbage into quarters to create cups.
  8. Spoon salad into cabbage cups.
  9. Garnish with a slice cherry tomato.
