Apricot Holiday Cookies Recipe
- 1/2 c. Butter soft
- 2/3 c. Sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 2 Tbsp. Orange juice
- 1/2 x Orange grated peel
- 1/4 c. Apricot preserves or possibly Orange marmalade
- 2 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- Cream together butter and sugar in large mixing bowl.
- Beat in egg.
- Add in orange juice and peel and apricot preserves.
- Mix well.
- Sift together flour, baking pwdr and salt in separate bowl.
- Beat flour mix into butter mix till dough comes together.
- Drop rounded ts of batter, about 2" apart, onto foil-lined, greased baking sheets.
- Bake at 375 till cookies are brown around the edges, 10 to 12 min.
- 69 cal; 3 gr fat; 39% fat.
