Chicken Schnitzel
- 500 grams Chicken breast fillet
- 2 cup Bread crumb
- 2 Eggs
- 2 cup Plain flour
- 1 tsp Sweet paprika
- 1 tsp Celery salt
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1 Canola oil for frying
- Cut your breasts inti schnitzel pieces.
- Now get a bowl for egg wash.
- Crack eggs and whisk lightly.
- One plate for flour and another for crumb.
- Season crumb with herbs and spices.
- First coat chicken in flour- then egg wash- then in the crumb mix.
- You can repeat the egg wash and crumb if you want a thicker crust but I did it just the once.
- Pour some oil into pan and shallow fry on medium heat (maybe two at at time) until brown on both sides.
- Drain on paper towel and sit in oven on low heat until all chicken is cooked.
- Squeeze some lemon and serve with chips, gravy and salad.
- Childs play!
