Noodle Kugel

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a pan, saute the onions in oil until browned and caramelized.
  3. Put the cream cheese in a large bowl and pour the hot onions over to melt.
  4. In the meantime, in a large pot of boiling water, cook the noodles until done.
  5. Drain and add to the mixing bowl.
  6. Stir in the raisins, bouillon then the cottage cheese and sour cream.
  7. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with a fork.
  8. Mix into the noodles.
  9. Season with salt and pepper.
  10. Lightly oil a casserole and add the mixture.
  11. Dot the top with the butter.
  12. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
