Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken Sandwiches
- 2 broiler or 2 fryer chickens, cooked & shredded
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 1 14 cups ketchup
- 14 cup packed brown sugar
- 14 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 14 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt, celery seed & chili powder
- 14 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- hamburger bun
- In a 3- quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients except buns.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours in the slow cooker.
- Serve on buns.
