Tomato Pie

  1. Preheat oven at 425F.
  2. Follow the recipe for basic pie crust, but bake the crust for only 5 minutes.
  3. Revove from oven.
  4. Reduce oven to 400F.
  5. Line the bottom of pie crust with sliced tomatoes, sprinkle on spices.
  6. In bowl mix mayonnaise and cheese.
  7. Spread evenly over the tomato slices, covering all the edges, (like putting on icing).
  8. Bake for 35 minutes.
  9. Can be served at once, while still hot and bubbling.
