Easy Yummy Garlic Lotus Roots

  1. Thinly slice the lotus root, soak in a bowl of water, and drain.
  2. Cut the garlic into half lengthwise, remove the green core in its center, and crush with the side of a knife.
  3. Chop up roughly.
  4. In a frying pan, add plenty of olive oil and garlic, turn on the heat and cook until a nice aroma starts rising from the pan.
  5. Add the lotus root, and stir fry.
  6. Once the lotus root slices are translucent, add soy sauce and cheese, and stir fry while stirring.
  7. (At the end, turn up the heat to high and stir fry until golden brown )
  8. Serve on a plate and they are done You can sprinkle on black pepper or cayenne pepper too.
