Fast Feijoada

  1. Cook and stir bacon in large saucepan on medium heat until crisp.
  2. Remove from pan; drain on paper towels.
  3. Discard drippings from pan.
  4. Return half the bacon to pan.
  5. Stir in wieners and ham; cook 1 to 2 min.
  6. or until lightly browned.
  7. Add onions, garlic, bay leaf and thyme; cook 5 min.
  8. or until onions are crisp-tender, stirring frequently.
  9. Add beans and broth; simmer 20 min., stirring occasionally.
  10. Discard bay leaf.
  11. Serve feijoada topped with remaining bacon, tomatoes and cilantro.
