Devil's Food Cake Mix Cupcakes

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Line two 12 cup cupcake pans with paper or foil liners.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  4. Using a mixer on low speed, beat for 4 minutes, stopping halfway through to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the paper liners.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the cupcakes spring back to the touch when pressed gently in the center.
  7. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before decorating.
