Cheese Soup
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 12 medium onion
- 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon granule
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3 cups milk
- 8 ounces Cheez Whiz or 12 cup Velveeta cheese
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 12 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup beer (optional)
- Melt butter in 2 quart sauce pan.
- Dice onions add to butter.
- Saute onions until clear.
- Add bouillon and flour, stir to mix well and thick paste is formed.
- Add milk, stir well to remove any lumps, mixture will be thin.
- Add cheeses to simmering milk mixture.
- Stir, to melt cheeses.
- Stir in beer (optional).
- Serve warm, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
- With cornbread or toast.
