Irish Flip
- 1 1/2 ounces Irish whiskey
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
- 1 ounce half-and-half
- Ice
- Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish
- In a cocktail shaker, combine all of the ingredients except ice and the nutmeg and shake well.
- Add ice and shake again.
- Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with the grated nutmeg.
