Pizzeria Macaroni
- 7 oz. pkg. macaroni, cooked (about 2 c.)
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Brown meat; pour off fat.
- Add onion, stir until tender.
- Stir in sauce and all of the seasonings. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
- Then mix egg, milk and beat together and pour over macaroni.
- Mix well.
- Pour macaroni mixture in 13 x 9-inch pan; add sauce with meat and spices over macaroni. Over top put shredded Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake 1/2 hour and let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
